I plan on revising and expanding my second essay by checking that I stay on topic throughout the paper. I want to make sure my introduction states clearly what I intend to do and validate that my aims are clear to the readers. My paper is somewhat already nicely organized so my goal is to perfect the development and organization of what is soon to be my research paper. As far as the conclusion goes, I want to make sure the paper is all tied in together and that I get my point across the readers without any doubts or confusion.
I will expand it by using facts and statistics to why being in denial is an unhealthy living and acceptance is only the beginning of a fresh start. I don’t want to add false claims nor weak ones. I’ve noticed that reading out loud can help one notice how well an essay flows. I check my work by asking questions and answering them truthfully. I don’t want to give the readers an opposing viewpoint, and if there’s any I plan on giving my input and diminishing them.
An important aspect that I consider in a paper is repetition. Words and phrases being used numerous times in the same essay can help an essay die out. So that being said, my plan is to look for alternative words to switch things up and not bore the reader. A good tip I’ve received from my peers is that I should wait a few hours or days before going over my paper the second time so I can have a clear and clean mind. It's important not to fall in love with your work so you can always find ways to improve it. My paper hasn’t had the best transitions, so creating smooth and easy flowing ones would be a good start to perfecting my paper.
I will be expanding my essay by using websites within the Lee College database. I will be using these to make sure my essay is factual and has accurate and credible updated information. Using these databases makes it easier for me to site reliable information. I plan to further discuss and elaborate on the different feelings in a relationship between a male and female. Also, how psychology can affect and take place in a relationship between two people. Going through the essay and asking myself questions about from curiosity or confusion is a good way for me to find interesting research that not only I but others may be intrigued by. By doing this I can help the readers have a more understanding and clear perspective on my paper.
Being detailed and being complex can as well help a reader understand my perspective on both love poems. Another way I could further improve my paper is by asking for other’s input to receive an outside perspective on my writing. A good way of doing this would be by making an appointment at the writing center. This way I can make sure my writing can be fully understood by others besides me alone. These are my ideas for changing, revising, expanding, and developing my essay it into a well-constructed and detailed paper that can satisfy its audience.
